Happy Friday Everyone! One of the many things, I love during this time of the year is the Christmas sweater. There are a variety of festive, quirky, and cute Christmas sweaters out there. If you want to customize your Christmas sweater, you can always DIY. My little obsession for these sweaters started a few years ago when I bought my first sweater that said "Mistletoe." This year, I made a decision to start a tradition to purchase a Christmas sweater every holiday season. The Christmas sweater featured for this year is...Mr. & Mrs. Claus! How adorable are they? I knew it was going to be the sweater for Holiday 2014 the moment I saw it. Since it is the season of sparkle, I paired it with a black sequin skirt and layered it on top of a button down, neck tie blouse. To add a little warmth, I opted for booties and finished it off by mixing silver and gold jewelry. Oh, and I can't forget about that cute mini black bag. This ensemble would be great for a Holiday work party. My last "outfit" post of this year will be next Friday, so I would like to wish you all a Happy Holiday! Keep safe and stay warm! Consider this post as my virtual greeting card to you! Thank you for reading and talk to you soon! :)

Happy Monday Everyone and Happy December! We have a few more weeks until Winter officially arrives, but technically the season of sparkle and shine has already arrived. This month I will be styling outfits that can be worn from everyday to holiday office parties and even to formal parties. I will be incorporating metallic or sequins into each look until the last post of this year. When I think of silver and white, I think of Winter or snow. So to set the tone of December with the first outfit, I paired together the colors winter white and metallic silver. If you want a versatile metallic piece in your closet this season, I would suggested a pleated skirt. It is effortlessly chic and it can be worn all year round, not only for the holiday season. This look is a great everyday look or switch out the flats for heels for a more holiday office party look. Thank you for reading! Stay tuned if you want to see more outfits with sequins and shine! Talk to you soon! :)

Happy Sunday Funday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wanted to bring the Thanksgiving festivities to the blog by styling an outfit based on a few of the holiday colors. Today's featured piece is the blanket scarf. There are so many colors and patterns to choose from if you shop around. I happened to choose this one to style today because it reminded me of Thanksgiving. It is a great accessory if you need something to keep you warm while traveling on the plane or even on a road trip. The great thing about the blanket scarf is that it can be styled in a couple of ways. It can be wrapped around the shoulders like a shawl, wrapped around the neck a few times or how I have it, just simply hanging around the neck. Experiment with it and have fun! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

Happy Friday Everyone! For this blog post, I decided to style one of my favorite timeless piece-the trench coat. I was inspired by the effortless look of the Parisian Girl with just a trench coat layered over a striped tee paired with skinny pants. Mainly due to my petite stature, it has been quite a mission trying to find the perfect fitting trench coat. Needless to say, I was happy to find this little gem in the petite section of Banana Republic! When I buy a piece of clothing, I always like it to have some sort of unique detail. For this trench coat, it was the pleating detail in the back that grabbed my attention. This coat originally had tortoise shell buttons, but I wanted to replace it with black buttons to give the coat a more updated and polished look.
As for the shoot location of this look, I wanted to find a place that looked like a garden in Paris. Luckily, I found this cute little courtyard with a beautiful fountain and some lovely pink roses.
I would love to hear how you would style your trench coat. Let me know in the comments below. Thank you for reading and talk to you soon!

Hello Everyone! This past weekend, I had the chance to venture out of Los Angeles and take a mini road trip to San Luis Obispo to visit my sister. There, I got to experience one of Fall's greatest festivities for the first time...apple picking! With the apple picking season nearly over and the fact that the organic apples were invested with pests, it was definitely a scavenger hunt to finding the perfect apples. Every time I found a perfectly hidden apple, I felt like I found a golden egg. It was certainly a fun adventure and I enjoyed it a lot. If you are looking for a new or fun fall activity, I would suggest apple picking. :)
When I first thought of what to wear for apply picking, I automatically thought of a floppy hat, plaid shirt, and boots. I kept the color palette of the outfit very Fallesque with the maroon, brown, and grey. Fall is all about layers, so I layered a lovely grey sweater over a plaid shirt.
Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!
