Happy Friday Everyone! For the second look of the Prom Edition, I wanted to have a little more fun with a more timeless pairing. This look is for anyone looking for that sexy, classic or vintage inspired look. From the shoot location to the ensembles, I wanted to add pops of red to our black and white pairings to keep the look fun and lively.
His Look: Ben kept it classic by wearing one of his signature sequin vest in black and silver over a black and white ensemble. To finish of the look, he wore a interestingly shaped black bow tie and shiny dress shoes.
Her Look: I went for my lace Little Back Dress with sheer panels for a hint of sexiness. To tie in with my date's ensemble and for a personal touch, I wore sparkly silver earrings and a bracelet. For a little feel of classic vintage, I wore my bow heels and carried my favorite perfume clutch.
I hope we gave you a little inspiration from these two looks whether its for prom or a special occasion.
Thank you for reading! Have a good weekend and talk to you soon!

Hello Everyone! Spring has officially arrived and one of the many things that comes with this lovely season is Prom. Helping my sister with her Senior Prom night look sparked an idea to create two prom looks for you guys. I am excited to announce that I have brought in a special guest for my Prom Edition. Meet one of my very best friends, Ben Nguyen. We have a commonality in many things. Fashion being one of them. We tend to find ourselves matching sometimes unintentionally and sometimes intentionally. We share a love of sequins and sparkles. Hence his gold sequin vest. He was my date to Senior Prom so I thought it would be fun to have him in my Prom Edition.
His Look: This look is for guy who is looking to be bold and to stand out from the crowd. His gold sequin vest is definitely a show stopper. Why not bring out the sparkles and shine for the night? Ben kept it classic with a gold and black color theme from his bow tie to his shoes.
Her Look: This look is for the girl who is looking for a more feminine and elegant approach. I opted for a nude pink dress and paired it with gold statement accessories to tie in the gold speckles on the dress and also to compliment my date's ensemble.
Prom can get a bit stressful from picking out the unique "perfect" dress to accessories to hair to makeup etc. But relax and just breathe. Getting dressed  for prom should be fun and stress free! My only style tip is to know your body, fit, and style. Remember that you wear the dress, the dress does not wear you! If you feel comfortable in your dress, your confidence will shine through. Just have fun and dance the night away!

Stay tuned for Prom Edition Pt.2 next Friday! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Happy weekend Everyone! In the beginning of March, I received an email from WhatIWear.com regarding a contest to wear all Black to show support for "Earth Hour" and post the look on WhatIWear.com. By doing this, WhatIWear will help the winner give $100 donation to WWF under their name and they will also win a $100 Asos voucher. The contest ends at the end of March! For all the details, please click here. Please help spread the awareness!
For my all Black look, I decided to take a more simple and elegant approach. I paired an open back sheer top featuring a back cascading hem with simple black pants. I further accessorized the look with my current favorite earrings, sequin clutch, and my trusty old pointy toe heels.

Hello Everyone! With Spring arriving in just nearly 2 weeks, I styled a fresh and clean look to ring in the season. Looking through the Spring 2014 collections, I saw a lot designers such as Rebecca Taylor, Jason Wu, and Mulberry using beautiful powder/pastel blues. I also saw a wide variety of crop tops paired with structural pieces in collections such as Jil Sander, Tibi, and Rag & Bone. I was really inspired to create an ensemble with the strong minimal vibes of these two trends. I paired a crossover crop top with an asymmetrical skort and layered the outfit with a leather jacket to toughen up the minimal look. I kept the outfit sleek with a silver clutch and strappy sandals. I decided to add a splash of yellow to brighten up the outfit.

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a great week! A few years ago as I was flipping through a magazine, I came across the beautiful "Miss Dior Cherie Perfume" ad (click here to see), it inspired me to have a vision of an ethereal and fantasy shoot for the longest time. I finally decided to go make this vision come alive with my own take for a Valentine's Day post. Nearly 4 years ago, I saw this beautiful blush dress from H&M on sale in the clearance rack, I guess you can say it was "love at first sight." It practically screamed my name with the femininity, the blush color and the price. After trying it on, I purchased it in a heartbeat, but I never got the chance to wear it because I simply never found the occasion. I wanted to make good use of it so I decided to use it for this shoot. I paired it with chic looking, nude heeled sandals and some silver jewelry for a touch of glam and elegance. And I decided to go with heart balloons because I thought it was cute and unique. A little side note, you can't really tell the balloons are hearts because they deflated a little, sadly. :( I always knew I wanted to have this shoot at a location that radiates romance and dreaminess and I knew the Griffith Observatory was the perfect place for that. Special thanks to Tazme Moua for helping me make this vision come alive! Happy Valentine's Day! Remember to show your love everyday, not just today :) Thank you for reading and take care!
