Hello Everyone! This past weekend, I had the chance to venture out of Los Angeles and take a mini road trip to San Luis Obispo to visit my sister. There, I got to experience one of Fall's greatest festivities for the first picking! With the apple picking season nearly over and the fact that the organic apples were invested with pests, it was definitely a scavenger hunt to finding the perfect apples. Every time I found a perfectly hidden apple, I felt like I found a golden egg. It was certainly a fun adventure and I enjoyed it a lot. If you are looking for a new or fun fall activity, I would suggest apple picking. :)
When I first thought of what to wear for apply picking, I automatically thought of a floppy hat, plaid shirt, and boots. I kept the color palette of the outfit very Fallesque with the maroon, brown, and grey. Fall is all about layers, so I layered a lovely grey sweater over a plaid shirt.
Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

Happy Friday Everyone! Today I am taking you back to school with the...varsity jacket! Most recently, I have been seeing the varsity jacket featured in stores, street style, and even in television. The more I saw the varsity jacket, the more I wanted to do a feature it on my blog. For this look, I kept the styling chic and simple and paired it with colors that screamed "school" to me such as yellow, maroon, and navy. To really make this look more authentic, I took these photos at a real school. Can you guess what school it is? Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

Happy Friday Everyone! Today's blog post is a special treat. Last year, I had the pleasure of shooting "Paint the Town Red" with Angela and Cedric at LACMA. I loved their photography so much that this year, I wanted them to help me out with an idea that has been in my mind for years now. You may have already guessed from the post title, little black dress, bun, and sunglasses that this blog post is to pay tribute to non other than Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's. These photos were originally shot in March, but I recently received them. Just in time for a Halloween costume inspiration, maybe? :) I knew that Angela and Cedric would be the right fit for this shoot because their classic and timeless photography would help a lot with capturing the essence of her style. Originally, I had the idea of the photoshoot in front of the my favorite store, Chanel, but I figured out that I would tell a better story if I shot it throughout Rodeo Drive. Plus, this also helps to give you a mini tour of one of the well known tourists place in Los Angeles. I hope you guys enjoy my take on Audrey Hepburn's "Breakfast At Tiffany's" look. Special thanks to Angela and Cedric for helping me photograph an idea on probably one of the hottest days in Los Angeles. The last photo is a little "behind the scenes" shooting with Angela. Please check out their website for more exclusive photos and details on their photography-here. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will talk to you soon!

Happy Friday Everyone! Fall is officially here! I wanted to set the tone and welcome the season with a more classic dark look. Seeing all the amazing pictures of street style for Fashion Week from New York, London, Milan, to Paris has greatly inspired me to create this look. I have always loved seeing the variety of draped over jacket looks at Fashion Week, it just seems so chic and effortlessly put together. I always like to search for timeless pieces that can last for years, so if I had to pick a Fall/Winter must have it would be a great quality, fitted, faux leather/leather jacket. Just like a blazer, it is certainly a staple piece in any wardrobe. Lace will always be appropriate for Fall/Winter, whether it is used as a contrast fabric or simply for the whole garment. One style I have been a big fan of from Spring/Summer until to this season is the midi-skirt. I have seen it paired so many different ways from the runway to the streets, but I particularly love seeing it paired with a crop top. I do admit that the length of this style maybe difficult for petite people like me to wear because sometimes a midi-skirt may turn into a maxi skirt. But keep in mind that you may have to try on a few before you find the perfect one and remember there is always the option of having it tailored. This look was shot at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and I have to say the architecture was absolutely stunning. Walking through the hidden twist and turns of reflecting walls made feel like I was in a maze of another dimension. I highly recommend anyone that is sight seeing in Los Angeles to put the Walt Disney Concert Hall on their list. Thank you for reading and I am really looking forward to sharing a lot more blog posts on Fall fashion! Talk to you soon!

Happy Friday Everyone! With summer nearly coming to an end this month, I thought it would be necessary to style one more summer outfit. Although, I may throw in a fun outfit that is not fall nor summer related before I transition into fall attire. You will just have to stay tuned. :) What better way than to wrap up summer with polka dots, stripes, and a Sunday Funday tee shirt alongside the pier? I wanted to end my summer blog post on a carefree and positive note. I recently heard Hilary Duff's new single "Chasing the Sun" and fell in love with with the carefree, positive, and infinite message it sent. I thought it was the perfect song to end the summer to. Oh and if you did not notice, I dyed my hair back to black. I am happy I tried out a new hair color because it taught me that hair is like makeup, it is an accessory and a finishing touch to an ensemble. It aids in creating and unifying a look.

On a more heart to heart level, this past month for me has been hectic and eventful. All I can say is that it reminded me why I am such a strong believer that "everything happens for a reason". I just really want to remind my fellow followers and readers that in life there is always going to be a lot of twists and turns and change is inevitable, but remember to always take a step back and look at the bigger picture. You will get a clearer view. Simply, sometimes you just have to let it go, move on and say C'est La Vie.

Have a great weekend and I will talk to you soon! :)
